Otto Ludwigs of Craig Dies

Funeral Services were held Sunday Afternoon for Lifelong Resident of Same Farm Home

Otto D. Ludwigs, 61, of Craig, a lifelong resident on the same farm in Grant township, Plymouth county, died Thursday, October 6, at the Hawarden hospital. He had been in poor health several years.

Mr. Ludwigs was born January 1, 1883, and married Tina Hartman September 30, 1914 at Christ church.

Survivors include the widow; a son Alfred at home; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Plueger of Le Mars and Mrs. Laurence Renken of Sioux City; four brothers, Gerd of Chatsworth, William of Le Mars and Henry and Eilerd of Craig, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Borchers of Hawarden, Mrs. Tony Tammen of Struble and Mrs. John Miniets of Craig.

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at Christ Lutheran church in Grant township, of which he was a lifelong member, with Rev. F. Bunge in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery.
