Mrs. Peck Dies at Nursing Home

Funeral services for Mrs. Olive Marie Peck, 55, who died Thursday at the Mapes Nursing Home where she had been a patient the last three years were held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the First Methodist church. Dr. G. S. Bruland officiating. Interment was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Barnard Dow Funeral home.

Mrs. Peter Schemmer was the soloist with Mrs. Ivoran Noe at the organ. Casket bearers were Arnold Feauto, Lawrence Liston, Ronald Finch, William Boomgaarden, James Johnson and Ray McPherson.

Mrs. Peck was born at Akron August 16, 1910, a daughter of Charles Caskey and Carrie Burton Caskey. She married Luverne Peck at Akron in July 1928.

The couple farmed near Akron until moving to Blair, Neb., in 1941. They came to Hawarden in 1945. He died January 27, 1962.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Eunice) Pulscher of Hawarden and Mrs. Don (Marion) Johannsen of Phoenix; a son, Armond Peck of Hawarden; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Caskey, sr., of Akron; four brothers, Charles jr., and Darrel, both of Akron, Harold of Elk Point and Eldon of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. Annabelle Harkness and Mrs. Bernice Hughes, both of Sioux City and Mrs. Myrtle Talbott of Elk Point and five grandchildren.
