Well Known Farmer of GranvilleDeath claimed Bernard H. Bueltel, 73, well known resident in the Granville and Remsen communities at his home, July 18, after a few hours illness. He was engaged in the occupation of farming all his life. He was born at Luxemburg, Iowa, February 22, 1871, were he lived as a youth. He married at New Vienna, February 5, 1895, to Elizabeth Bohnenkamp, the Rev. Father W. A. Pape officiating at the ceremony. Following their marriage they came to the Granville community and lived there since.
He is survived by his wife, nine daughters and three sons, Francis, Regina, Cordula, Emma at home, Mrs. John Baker in California, Armella of Omaha, Mrs. Vincent Honkamp of Adrian, Minn., Sister Lucina of Dubuque, Helen of Omaha, Emil and Alphonse in the Army and Edmond at home and one granddaughter. A brother, Joseph Bueltel, lived at Halbur, Iowa.
The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:30 in St. Joseph’s church at Granville, Rev. Joseph J. Dalhoff officiating, and interment made in St. Joseph’s cemetery, Granville.
The Wiltgen funeral home of LeMars is in charge of arrangements.
