FLORENCE BUYS OF MERRILL DIES

After several months’ sickness, Mrs. Florence Buys, 29, of Akron, died Tuesday night in a hospital at Sioux City. She was born at Merrill, August 2, 1914. On Feb. 8, 1940, she was married to John Buys of Akron. She was a member of the Methodist church at Merrill.

Survivors are the widower; her father, Homer Brown of Merrill; three sisters, Mrs. John Heien and Mrs. Georgia Kinsella, both of Merrill, and Wanda Brown of Sioux City; and her grandfather, Frank June, of Merrill.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Methodist church at Merrill. Rev. J. Kirby, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Merrill cemetery.
