LOCAL NEWS NOTES.
Mrs. Josephine Feauto passed away Tuesday evening at the Zimmerman Home in LeMars, where she had been a patient for some time, at the age of 82 years. Mrs. Feauto was a resident of the Westfield vicinity for many years and has a number of relatives and numerous friends there. Funeral services will be held in Akron in St. Patrick’s church at 9 o’clock Friday morning, and interment in the Catholic cemetery here. The body was brought to the Rossow Funeral Home.

FALL PROVES FATAL TO AGED WOMAN
Mrs. Josephine Feauto Dies From Injury

Mrs. Josephine Feauto, 82, old resident of Westfield vicinity, died at the Zimmerman Home in LeMars Tuesday. Mrs. Feauto suffered a fracture of her hip bone about five weeks ago and never rallied from the effects of the accident. She was a French Canadian by birth and settled near Elk Point in early days and then lived in Westfield vicinity. Mrs. Feauto lived in LeMars the past year or two. She was preceded in death by her husband, five sons and two daughters. There are a number of grandchildren. The body was taken to Akron and funeral services will be held in Westfield.

Funeral services were held at Westfield last week for Mrs. Josephine Feauto, who died at the age of 82 at the Zimmerman Home in LeMars Tuesday. Mrs. Feauto, of French-Canadian birth, had lived in LeMars for about a year. She suffered a broken hip in a fall a few weeks ago and this was indirectly the cause of her death.
