Mrs. Milford Beeghly

Mrs. Milford Beeghly, 76, of Pierson died Friday (Aug. 24, 1984) in a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of the Brethren at Kingsley. Rev. Leola Allen will officiate. Burial will be in the Kingsley Cemetery under the direction of the Michaelson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Beeghly, the former Dorothy Margaret Graham, was born Nov. 15, 1907, on a farm west of Kingsley. She graduated from Kingsley High School in 1925 and attended college at Mount Morris, Ill., Morningside College and Iowa State University. She married Milford Beeghly, March 8, 1941, in Lincoln, Neb. She taught junior high school in Quimby and also in Mapleton where she was principal for three years.

She was an active member of the Church of the Brethren, the Ladies Aid Society of the church and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a Girl Scout leader and a 4-H Club leader…
