ANNA GROSENHEIDER

Anna Gerdena (Mrs. Emil) Grosenheider, lifelong resident of Plymouth County, passed away at her home at 401 6th Ave. SW on April 17, following a sickness lasting two years.

Anna Pageler was born January 5, 1888, in Grant township, Plymouth County. She was married to Emil Grosenheider on February 14, 1907, at the home of her parents in Grant township. The Grosenheiders moved to LeMars in 1933.

Funeral services were held today, Monday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s American Lutheran Church with Rev. L.L. Belk officiating. Burial was in the LeMars City Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Emil; five daughters, Mrs. Ed (Minnie) Ruether; Mrs. Hilbert (Lula) McClintock; Mrs. Ernest (Anna) Charlson; Mrs. Englebert (Lorraine) Pennings; Mrs. William Grady (Arlene); five sons, Henry, Alvin, Emil Jr., William, Lloyd, of LeMars; twenty-one grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother & 5 sisters.

Deceased was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
