February 29, 1944HEART ATTACK FATAL FOR FRANK BAUSCH
COUNTY HOME INMATEFrank Brausch, 79, an inmate of the county home, died unexpectedly Saturday evening from a heart attack. He was apparently in good health and ate his supper as usual. Shortly afterwards, he complained of pains in his chest. He was assisted to bed and an hour later passed away.
Bausch was always reticent about his personal affairs and nothing is known here about his relatives. He worked around Remsen for many years at well digging and other jobs. The body was taken to the Luken Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday afternoon and interment made in the City Cemetery.
Rev. L.L. Belk, of St. John’s American Lutheran Church will officiate at the service.
