Had Lived Twenty Years in VermillionJ.F. March, formerly widely known resident of Plymouth County, died Friday at his home in Vermillion, South Dakota. The funeral was held Monday at the Baptist church in Vermillion and the body was brought to LeMars for burial in the March family plot.
Frank March was born at Argyle, Wisconsin, and moved to Iowa when he was 20 years old. The family lived in Seney community for many years and about 40 years ago Mr. March moved to Akron where he was associated with E.O. Thorson in the drug business for many years. He moved to Vermillion 20 years ago. Mr. March’s sons operate the LeMars Theatres.
Survivors include the widow, Elizabeth; two sons, P.L. March of Wayne, Neb., and Capt. G.L. March of Vermillion; a brother, W.L. March of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Miss Lucile March of Sioux City and Mrs. Dan McArthur of Sheldon; and five grandchildren.
