The Alton Review of Alton Iowa reported in the paper of Nov 28, 1884. A little child of W. H. Freeman of Lemars, died recently from a dose of contcentrated lye, taken in July last. The little one suffered untold agony up to the hour of death.

(The submitter could only find a possible family living in Plymouth county in 1885 by the name of Watson or Walter Freeman age 52, hard to read, middle initial could be H. or S. Wife Barb J. age 54, children Will 16, Maria 14, Fred 11 and Boy W. 2.)
