LONG RESIDENT THIS COUNTY DIED

Funeral services for John Bainbridge, 83, of Kingsley, was held 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church at that place.

Mr. Bainbridge died Saturday due to a heart attack at his home three miles northwest of Kingsley. He was born July 29, 1868, at Shullsburg, Wis., and came with his parents to Iowa in 1881, living in the vicinity of Kingsley before the town was built. He married Anna Rowe March 12, 1889.

Survivors include four sons, William and John Jr., both of Kingsley, Raymond of Moville, and Joseph of Smithland; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Bowman, Mrs. Etta Woods, and Mrs. Anna Hagan, all of Kingsley; 31 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; a brother and two sisters.

John Bainbridge, 83, Kingsley Pioneer Died

Funeral services for John Bainbridge , 83, of Kingsley who settled there before the town of Kingsley was established, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Methodist church there. Burial will be in the Kingsley cemetery.

Mr. Bainbridge died unexpectedly Saturday after suffering a heart attack at his farm home about three miles northwest of there.

He was born July 29, 1868, at Shullsburg, Wis., and came with his parents to Iowa in 1881. He married Anna Rowe March 12, 1889. They established a home in Kingsley where he resided until his death.

Survivors are four sons, William and John, Jr., both of Kingsley, Raymond of Moville and Joseph of Smithland; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Bowman, Mrs. Etta Woods, and Mrs. Anna Hagan, all of Kingsley; 31 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; a brother and two sisters.
