BERNARD L. ROGERS

Bernard L. Rogers, 78, of Marrland Heights, Hinton, died Wednesday at Spirit Lake after a long illness. They were vacationing at the Lakes.

Mr. Rogers was born in January 1903, at Woodbine, Iowa, the son of Laural and Homer Rogers. He attended school at Moorehead, Iowa, and graduated from Morningside College in 1926. He was president of the class.

He was in real estate before retiring due to poor health. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Sioux City.

Survivors are his wife, Marjorie; a daughter, Patricia Sprinkle of Kansas City, Mo., and two grandsons.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Nelson-Berger Northside chapel. Rev. Derry Long of the Grace Evangelical church, Hinton, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
