Mrs. Mathilda Rodwig, 57, of this township died last week Wednesday in a local hospital in Sioux City following an operation of over two weeks ago. She was born March 4, 1875, in Paris, France, and came to Sioux City in 1892. In 1917, she moved to this vicinity. She is survived by the widower, Frank Rodwig; two sons, Francis and Leon, of this vicinity; her mother, Mrs. Frank Crous, of Baltimore, Md., and two sisters, Mrs. Jack Mann of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Theodore Flynn, of Chicago. Funeral services were held Friday morning in the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City, Rev. John Curry officiated. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.
