Funeral services for Theodore Barry Creamer, 64, retired farmer, was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Wescott’s funeral chapel at Sioux City. Rev. J.E. Feller officiated and interment was in Floyd cemetery. Mr. Creamer died September 6, in his home in Leeds, after a lingering illness.
Born January 13, 1870, near Manchester, Ia., he moved with his parents to Plymouth County, Iowa, when he was 14. He farmed in Plymouth County until he moved to Leeds 25 years ago.
On December 19, 1901, he was married to Mrs. Ellen Givens at LeMars. She succumbed April 1 this year.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Young of Sioux City, Mrs. Sadie Douglas of Sedalia, Colo., and Mrs. Addie Hudson of Bank, Ore.; five stepchildren, Mrs. R.N. Sherrill of Fort Dodge, Ia., Mrs. Ada Bornholtz of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. C.R. Mullong of Norfolk, Neb., J.S. Givens, of O’Neil, Neb., and N.C. Givens, of Ottumwa, Ia.
