MRS. CHAS. DANNE

Mrs. Charles Danne, whose home was at 401 1st Ave. SW in LeMars, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 1954, at the Sacred Heart Hospital after a sickness which lasted several months.

Hilka H. Grimjes was born July 6, 1876, in Forreston, Illinois, and moved to Stanton Township in 1882. She was united in marriage with Charles Danne on September 12, 1900, in Stanton Township. The couple farmed in Stanton and Plymouth townships until 1928 when they moved to LeMars. Mr. Danne passed away in March 1952. Mrs. Danne was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church in LeMars and held many offices in the church during her life. She was 77 years, 11 months and 10 days of age.

Memorial services will be held at the First Methodist church on Friday, June 18, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Clawson, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren church, officiating. Burial will be in the LeMars City Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors include include one son, Lidon Danne, of LeMars, one grandson, and a brother, Henry Grimjes of LeMars.

Deceased was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and __ sisters, and two brothers. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church and its organizations.
