Many old friends and neighbors in this community mourn the demise of Mrs. Frank Soule, who died Sunday night, Sept. 2, 1934, while enroute from Blackduck Lake, Minn., where she had spent the summer, to Sioux City where the family were bringing her for medical aid. She was accompanied on the trip by her husband, Frank Soule; her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Soule; and her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Oldis. Mrs. Soule had been suffering from a lingering illness and had just recently left a hospital in the vicinity of where the family are living, to come back to Hinton and Sioux City and with the intention of entering a Sioux City hospital.

She was united in marriage to Frank Soule in 1896, at Kalamzaoo, Mich., where they located and resided for a year, after which they came to Hinton and located on a farm where they lived for several years until they moved to Minnesota. After living in Minnesota for two or three years, they returned to Hinton and established a home where she spent the remainder of her life, excepting the past several months which was spent at Blackduck Lake.

Surviving are her widower, Frank Soule; two sons, Arthur and Delbert of Blackduck Lake, Minn., and one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Oldis of Sioux City. One son, Ivy, passed away five years ago.
