DATE OF DEATH: Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1981
PLACE OF DEATH: He was stricken while in his car outside the city and was dead on arrival at Waseca, Minn., hospital.
CAUSE OF DEATH: …of an apparent heart attack

OCCUPATION: He was a graduate of Hinton Community High School, 1949, and he attended Concordia College in St. Paul from 1949 to 1952. He was graduated from Concordia seminary in St. Louis, Mo., in 1957. He served Lutheran churches at Fort Frances and Rainy River in Ontario, Canada, from 1957 to 1961, and was pastor of the Lutheran Church at Chatfield. He had served as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville since 1968.

SURVIVORS: ….are his wife; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Cleland Stinger of South Sioux City; 2 brothers, Dwane of Sioux City and Keith of Omaha; and three sisters, Mrs. William (Donna) Anderson of Sioux City, Catherine Peterson of Omaha and Eleanor Marcue of Modesto, California.
