FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR HARRY SCHINDEL

Harry A. Schindel, 67, of Merrill, Ia., died Friday at Pelican Rapids, Minn., following a heart attack. He was in Minnesota on a fishing trip.

Mr. Schindel was born October 30, 1886, in Plymouth County. He farmed near Merrill until 1925, when he moved to San Francisco. He returned to Merrill in 1944.

He married Marie Rosburg in 1912, at Sioux City. She died in 1940.

Survivors include a brother, Allen, of Merrill, and two sisters, Mrs. Jestina Larson of Odebolt, Ia., and Mrs. Rosa Meehan at Palo Alto, Cal.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mauer funeral home at LeMars. The body was sent to Omaha for cremation.
