Miss Minnie Sloan, 71, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday in a hospital at that place. She had been ill for about a month.
Miss Sloan was born November 13, 1875, in Louisa County, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late T.O. and Mary Sloan. She lived in Plymouth County for about 25 years and for the last 40 years has resided in Sioux City. She was a member of the Whitfield Methodist church and the Woman’s Relief Corps.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Frost, Mineral Wells, Texas, and Mrs. Clara Hurt, Newcastle, Wyo.; two brothers, Walter Sloan of Perry Township, RFD 1, Sioux City, and Dr. Arthur M. Sloan of Alhambra, Cal.
