MRS. ANNA WITT
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Witt, 64, who died at her home Saturday after a sickness of a year, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s American Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the LeMars City cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home. Rev. L.L. Belk will officiate at last rites.
Mrs. Witt was born October 4, 1888, at Sioux City, Ia. She became a resident of LeMars in 1919. She was married to Julius Reinhold Witt, August 12, 1920, at LeMars.
Survivors are the widower; three sons, Donald and Leonard, both of LeMars, and Wallace in United States military service; a daughter, Miss Mildred Witt of LeMars; brothers, Pete Moeller of Rock Valley, Martin and Charles, Sioux City, Arthur of Indianola; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Kline of Sioux Falls, Mary Slumbum of Hawarden, Rose Winterfield of Sioux Falls and two grandchildren, David and Linda Witt.
Mrs. Witt was a member of the ladies aid and missionary society.
