MRS. JOHN KOVARNA

Mrs. John Kovarna, 86, a resident of Westwood Convelescent and Resthome, 3201 Stone Park Blvd, formerly of rural Hinton, died Sunday (June 10, 1979) at the care center after a long illness.

Mrs. Kovarna, the former Olive Maxey, was born June 4, 1893, at Sioux City. She was a resident of the Hinton area before entering the care center. She was married in Sioux City. Mr. Kovarna died Nov. 12, 1971, in Sioux City.

Survivors are three sons, Lester and Charles, both of Hinton, and Howard of Merrill; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Ella) Frerichs of Allen, Neb., Mrs. Clarence (Donna) Miller of Sioux City and Mrs. Cecil (Doris) Sitzman of LeMars; a brother, Hugh of Emerson, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Buchanan of Spokane, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
