FLORENCE SCHRADER

Florence Schrader, 83, longtime LeMars resident, died Friday (May 12, 1989) at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center, LeMars, after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at LeMars First Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Friends may call at the funeral after 2 p.m. Monday and the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.

She was born Feb. 3, 1906, at New York. Her foster parents were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dittmer. Her marriage to William F. Schrader took place Jan. 25, 1927, at Burt, Iowa. She was a homemaker and lived in LeMars the last 30 years. She had been employed at K-Products. Mrs. Schrader was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Wanda Camerer of LeMars and Emma Wilson of Madrid; a son, LaRoy Schrader of Farmington, Minn.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1956; a son, Edward; and a sister.
