OCCUPATION: The coupled lived in Sioux City until 1968 when they moved to Kingsley. He died Aug. 7, 1994. She had worked for U.S. West for 25 years, retiring in 1993. She spent the summers at the couple’s lakeside home near Park Rapids, Minn.
SURVIVORS: …include two sons and their wives, Doug and Laurie of Sioux City and Rusty and Julie of LeMars; three daughters and their husbands, Lynne and George Kinsey of South Sioux City, Cindy and Wendell Brown of Leon and Tami and Ray Thompson of Omaha; her mother, Lela Bride of Kingsley; three brothers and their wives, Jim and Val of Pocahontas, Bill and Marilyn of Sioux City and Jim and Lynn of Peachtree City, Ga.; two sisters, Lynn Oldfather of Portland, Ore., and Terry and her husband, Dale Gosch of Sioux City; and 11 grandchildren.
MEMBER OF: St. Michael’s Catholic Church
PRECEDED in DEATH by: ..her father; two sons, Guy and Russell; and two sisters.
