OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had worked for Hallett Construction Co. for many years. He retired and moved to the Kingsley-Pierson area in 1980. He lived at the Kingston Apartments in Kingsley during 1992 and had been a resident of the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Correctionville since October 1993.

SURVIVORS: …include four sons, William and his wife, Maureen of Moville and Ralph and his wife, Jeanette, Marvin and his wife, Margaret and Marlin, all of Sioux City; a daughter, Juanita Niles of Sioux City; a brother, Noah Wilson of Missouri; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a son, Earl; four brothers, Harry, Mort, George, and Cliff; two sisters, Maude Lahann and June Rutledge; and a special friend, Fern “Midge” Butrous.
