Madelyn T. Wurth

LE MARS, Iowa -- Madelyn T. Wurth, 81, of Le Mars, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995, at the Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars. 

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the Westcenter Chapel, then to the Westcenter Chapel, then to the St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Omaha for a 11 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. todsy at the Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler Westcenter Chapel in Omaha. 

Mrs. Wurth was born in Dunlap and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1933. She married Norbert F. Wurth on April 11, 1942, in Lonh Beach, Calif. After World War II, they moved to Mason City, then to Sioux City in 1953. In 1981, she moved to Omaha then to Le Mars in 1986. Mrs. Wurth was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Sioux City. 

Survivors include her husband; two sons and their wives, Dr. Mark G. and Patrice Wurth of Omaha, Neb., and James P. and Kathleen Wurth-Berthoud of Colorado; two daughters and their husbands, JoEllen Wurth and Tom Johns of Omaha, Neb. and Janet K. and Dennis Buffington of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 15 grandchilden and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Johanna (Kennedy) Sullivan; three sisters and four brothers. 

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Omaha Chapter or Foxwood Springs Alzheimer's Care Center, Raymore, Mo.
