OCCUPATION: He farmed with his father prior to his marriage. The couple then farmed north of Remsen. She died Feb. 26, 1972. Mr. Tentinger moved to Alton in 1973 and was still actively engaged in farming.
MEMBER OF: St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Alton, IA., and the Knights of Columbus of Remsen.
SURVIVORS: …include four daughters and their husbands, Janice and John Coon and Jean and David Pickhinke, all of Early, Iowa, Marilyn and Paul Sohm of Rochester, Minn., and Mary Ellen and Roger Welsh of Norwalk, Ohio; five sons and their wives, Mike W. and Ann, Jerry and Pat, and Chuck and Jo, all of Remsen, Pat and Fran of Des Moines, Iowa, and Tom of Frisco, Texas and his wife Jeni of Plano, Texas; 37 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a brother, Roman of Remsen; seven sisters, Mrs. Don (Mercedes) Augustine and Mrs. Edward (Helen) Ritz, both of Sioux City, Mrs. Harold (Rita) Henke of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Francis (Doris) Ruhland of LeMars, Lois and her husband Edward Troups of Bartelsville, Okla, Phyllis and her husband Jim Boever of Davenport, Iowa, and Paul and her husband, Gib Schroeder of Remsen.
