OCCUPATION: He had been a resident of LeMars and South Sioux City before moving to Arkansas. He was employed in many jobs, including electrician, civil defense and rescue, mechanic, musician and lifeguard. He was mainly employed as a rough in and finish carpenter.

SURVIVORS: …include his wife; two sons and their wives, Robert and Jennifer of Dakota City and John and Lori of Winnebago, Neb.; a daughter, Robin Singer and her fiancé Jeff Gee, of Sioux City; two brothers and their wives Bill and Bonnie of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Steve and Debbie of Dakota City; a sister and her husband, Dorothy and Robert Falk of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents and a sister, Shirley Gengler.
PLACE OF BURIAL: Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville. Memorial services will be held at a later date in LeMars.
