OCCUPATION: He lived in California before entering the U.S. Marine Corps, serving from 1952 to 1955. Following his discharge, he returned to Minneapolis. He moved to Sioux City in 1967. He was employed with Wilson Trailer Co. briefly, then with Wincharger Corp. He was then employed with Fabricators Inc. retiring in 1997. He then farmed part time.
MEMBER OF: Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 3, a leader of 411 in Plymouth County and a former president and current vice-president of Merrill Saddle Club.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; a daughter, Christine Stowers of Westfield; and two sisters, Ruth Drake and Millie Dilling, both of Coronado, Calif.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents and a sister, Lois Evans.
