WILL KOENIG DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

William Koenig, widely known business man at LeMars, passed away last Saturday after a lingering illness. Due to ill health, Mr. Koenig had to give up his business activities over a year ago and was confined to his home for several months before his death.

The surviving brothers and sisters are Mrs. John Brehm of Pasadena, Calif.; Mrs. J.H. Bauernfeind of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. C.D. Dendel of Green Mountain, Iowa; Gottlieb Koenig of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Dan Zinser of Pasadena, Calif.; Christ Koenig, of White, S.D.; Harry Koenig, of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and Mrs. S.H. Tubeville of Mishawaka, Ind.

The funeral services were held at the First Methodist Episcopal church in LeMars at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, Sept. 22, Rev. John R. Tumbleson, pastor of the church officiating. Burial was in the city cemetery.
