DENA ROBBINS

Dena Robbins of 10 – 5th Ave. SE passed away Sunday, April 19, 1953, at the Plymouth County home. This was the first death recorded at the new Plymouth County home located on highway 5 east of LeMars. Mrs. Robbins suffered a stroke.

Mrs. Robbins was born February 2, 1865, in Norway. She was married to Joe E. Robbins, who preceded her in death. She was 88 years of age.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Luken’s funeral home with Rev. Frank Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery under the direction of the Luken’s funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Harold Robbins, of San Jose, California, and a niece, Helen Hanson, of Spencer, Iowa.
