Howard Anthens Taken By Death

Howard R. Anthens, aged 33, a brother of Mrs. Vernon Gardner, at Merrill, passed away in a Sioux City hospital Wednesday morning following an operation for appendicitis.

Mr. Anthena was a salesman for the Morrell Packing company of Sioux Falls. Surviving are his wife, his mother and three sisters, who are Miss Harriet Anthens, of Sioux City; Mrs. Vernon Gardner, of Merrill, Miss Katherine Anthens, of Sioux City, and three brothers, Frank and Richard, of Sioux City, and William H., of Los Angeles.
