EDWARD M. DILLEY SR.
Edward M. Dilley Sr., 88, formerly of Kingsley, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 1974, in a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Dickinson-Michaelson Funeral Home at Kingsley. Rev. Arnold Vehling, pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church of Sioux City, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Kingsley Cemetery.
Mr. Dilley was born June 12, 1886, at Moorsville, Mo. He married Clara Mary Page Feb. 15, 1912, at Minneapolis. He lived in Kingsley until entering a nursing home four years ago.
He was in the welding business in Kingsley and also operated a broom factory there. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Mrs. Dilley died in 1970.
Survivors are two sons, Edward Jr., of Monterey Park, Calif., and Willard of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. C. A. (Isadore) Helms of Burlington, N.C., and Mrs. Clarence (Lainys) Burger of Moville; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
