LE MARS, Iowa - Anna M. Greene, 91, of Le Mars died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at a Le Mars nursing home following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellendale, Iowa. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, and a 7 p.m. Scriptural wake service at the funeral home. Also Monday visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Greene was born May 30, 1907, in Dimock, S.D., the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Zeier) Schoenfelder. She attended school in Dimock. She married Harold Greene Nov.29, 1933 in Sioux City. He died Nov. 1, 1991, in Sioux City. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with the family farm.

She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ellendale, Iowa.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Robert and Linda of Hinton, Iowa and Victor and Charlotte of Sioux City; two daughters-in-law, Karen Green of Sioux City and Linda Dexter of South Dakota; a brother Joseph Schoenfelder of Washington; three sisters, Eva Wagner of McCook Lake, S.D., Bernadine Nolz of Parkston, S.D., and Bridget Kerwin of Chamberlain, S.D.; eight grandchildren, Vicki Harrison, Chuck, Jon, Scott, Jermey, Jason, Chad and Shannon Greene; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Harold Jr. in infancy, Joe and Stephen; a sister and brothers.

Pallbearers will be Jon, Scott, Chad, Jermey, Amber, Jason, Shannon Green and Vicki and Doug Harrison.
