Mrs. E. J. Graham

Mrs. Earl J. Graham, 83, Merrill, Iowa formerly of Sioux City, died Friday [April 15, 1977] at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John American Lutheran Church at Merrill. The Rev. Harold Norheim, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Pall bearers will be Leo Muth, Ray Luschen, Al Huls, Leo DeROcher, Wesley Kuehn, and Ray Clarey.

There will be a Prayer Service at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.

Mrs, Graham, the former Anna P. [Petra] Christensen was born [to Peter and Katherine Hermansen Christensen] June 24, 1893, in Sioux City. She was married to Mr. Graham on Feb. 16, 1920 in Sioux City. The couple farmed in the Merrill area from 1930 to 1971. They moved into the community [Merrill] four years ago. She was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild of the church.

Survivors include the widower; a son Dwight of Sioux City; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
