MARY SAGER DIES AT AGE 66
Former Resident of Merrill for 31 Years

Mrs. Mary Caroline Sager, 66, died Tuesday at her home in Sioux City after an illness of a few days.

Mrs. Sager was born April 5, 1884, in Woodbury County. She lived in Merrill for 31 years.

She was a member of the Methodist church at Merrill and Zala Rebekah lodge 550 of Sioux City.

Surviving are the husband, Ira; three sons, Clarence Hemphill of Atlantic, Iowa, Wallace and Gerald G. Hemphill of LeMars; a daughter, Mrs. Matthew Levins of LeMars; four stepsons, Everett and Lester Sager of Sioux City, Irvin Sager of Denver and Louie Sager of Hinton; a half-sister, Mrs. Lloyd Bager, Moville; a half-brother, Walter Brainard of Moville; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

The body was taken to the Anderson funeral home.
