On last Saturday night the reaper of death took from this earth Jas Tierney, one of Plymouth County’s old and highly respected citizens. For several months he had been quite ill at the home of his son, Joseph Tierney, who resides on the old Tierney homestead in Henry Township. The cause of death was infirmities from old age. The deceased was a native of Ireland and at the time of his death was age 85 years and 8 months.
