ELEANOR A. SCHORG

LE MARS, Iowa—Eleanor Ann Schorg, of Huntington Beach, Calif., a former LeMars resident, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 1996, at the Orange County Memorial Hospital in California.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at St. James Catholic Church in LeMars. The Rev. Richard Ries will officiate and a nephew, Deacon Larry Sitzman, will assist. A private burial service will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Neptune, in Lincoln township.

Mrs. Schorg was born in Lincoln township, Plymouth County, the daughter of John J. and Mary Jane (Connor) Sitzman. She grew up in LeMars and attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School.

She married Arley K. Schorg in 1944. He died in 1962.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Carl (Dolores) Paulson, of LeMars, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Clarence, Jack, Eldon, Lester, Bernard, Kenneth and Tony Sitzman; five sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Margaret) Warneke, Evelyn Sitzmann, Mrs. Donald (Irene) Bauerly and two sisters in infancy.
