SURVIVORS: …include his wife; three daughters, Shelley and her husband, Steve Ruden of Remsen, Brenda Schroeder of LeMars and her special friend, Ron Vandom of Sioux City, and Natalie Schroeder, of LeMars; four sons, Paul and his special friend, Letitcha Charlson of LeMars, and Preston, Jesse and Nathaniel, all of LeMars; his stepmother, Joan Schroeder of Remsen; three brothers and their wives, James and Shyril of Hinton, Iowa, and John and Meridith and Philip and Margaret, all of Remsen; a sister and her husband, Mary and Richard Riedemann of Remsen; a stepbrother and his wife, James and Lisa Jaminet of Saguache, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.
