Mrs. Henry Koppert, 91, of Le Mars, died Saturday (April 23, 1983), at a Le Mars nursing home after a brief illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s American Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. Tom Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Luken Funeral Home in Le Mars.
Mrs. Koppert, the former Carolina (Lena) Moehlmann, was born March 27, 1892, in Plymouth County to Albert and Theda Erks Moehlmann. She live at Lockwood, Mo., and Blackwell, Okla., but spend most all her life in Le Mars. She married Henry Koppert Jan. 24, 1918 at Onawa. He died in 1953
She was a homemaker, worked in the school lunch program and was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Irene) Robb of Ann Arbor, Mich., two sons, Eugene of Silver Lake, Wash., and Robert of Milford; a brother, George of Chatsworth; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Leo and two sisters.
Memorials are being made to Brentwood and St. John’s American Lutheran Church.
