Memorial service for Helen Roseberry, 94, Le Mars native and lifelong resident, was at 2 p.m. Monday at Presbyterian United Church of Christ. Rev. Robert Grupp officiated and burial was in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Helen Haas Roseberry died Feb. 19, 1987, at Marian Health Center, Sioux City.

She was born Feb. 21, 1892, in Le Mars to Conrad and Emma Wernli Haas. She married Clarence Roseberry in October 1920 in Le Mars, where they made their home. Mr. Roseberry died in 1944.

She was a member of Presbyterian United Church of Christ.

Survivors are a son, Robert Roseberry of Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. William (Helen) McDonald of Des Moines; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

A memorial has been established in her name for the music department of Presbyterian United Church of Christ.
