Word was received of the death of Mrs. Olive Julian Ward, a former LeMars and Merrill resident.

She passed away at Kenosha, Wis., and burial was held at LeMars on Thursday afternoon, with Mauer funeral home directing.

She is survived by one son, William Julian, and two grandchildren.
