RITES TUESDAY FOR MISS BLUMER

Miss Margaret Anna Blumer died Sunday, May 27, at the Sacred Heart hospital after a five-month illness.

Funeral services for the LeMars woman who had lived here since her birth 62 years ago, March 29, 1889, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, in St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed Church.

The Rev. M.L. Straube will officiate and burial will be under the direction of Mauer’s funeral home in the city cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until service time.

Miss Blumer was a member of the St. John's church and the LeMars Swiss Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bartholomew and Sarah Ruedi Blumer, and a brother.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Marie Vlotho of LeMars and Mrs. Clara Utech, with whom Miss Blumer spent some time in Orange City; a brother, Bert J. Blumer of Denver and three nieces and three nephews.
