MRS. ANNA MYERS DIES; SERVICES SET AT HILDRETH CHURCH

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna D. Myers, 71, who died at the Lutheran hospital, Sioux City, after a week’s illness, will be held Friday, Feb. 29, at the Hildreth Memorial Church at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. K. J. Clawson officiating.

The body will be taken from the Mauer funeral home to the church at 12 noon Friday and will lie in state until 3:30 p.m. Interment will be in the city cemetery.

Mrs. Myers was born Jan. 26, 1881, in LeMars, the daughter of Henry and Pauline Pech Detloff. Plymouth county was her home until her marriage to Matthew M. Myers in Paullina in 1911.

She lived in Sioux City until 1943 when she moved back to LeMars to make her home with her sister, Mrs. S. Uthe. Her husband preceded her in death in 1943. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Mrs. W.E. Henrich and Mrs. Ed Riter.

Surviving are three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Martha Reints, Mrs. Mathilda Uthe and Edward Detloff all of LeMars, Mrs. Mayme Dealy of Sioux City, H.C. Detloff of Yakima Wash., and A.R. Detloff of Los Angeles.
