OCCUPATION: After her schooling, she served in the U.S. Airforce until receiving a medical discharge for her hearing. Her first husband died in August 1979. With her second husband she lived in and around the LeMars area for 20 years. They assisted with caring for the Craig Ballpark and Craig City Park for several years. Her second husband died in July 1997.
SURVIVORS: …include two daughters; a son; her mother, Martha Smith of LeMars; maternal grandmother, Bessie Disney of LeMars; five grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Mobley of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and Harold Mobley of LeMars; 11 stepchildren; and 25 stepgrandchildren.
