OCCUPATION: He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was stationed in Hawaii. After marriage, they lived in the Kingsley area for 46 years. He operated Ray Bros. Construction with his brother for many years, and also farmed near Elk Point, S.D., since 1968.
SURVIVORS: … include his wife; two sons, Tom and his wife Marsha of Kingsley, and Kevin and his special friend Lisa Taylor-Houk (and Mariah); three daughters and their husbands, Jackie and Frank Stanfield of Sergeant Bluff, Patty and Doyle Parrish of Dakota City, and Shelly and Mark Livermore of Moville, Iowa; four brothers, Wayne and his wife, Velma of Sioux City, Don of Sutherland, Iowa, Bud and his wife, Bonnie of Sloan, Iowa, and Leland of South Sioux City; a sister, Dorothy Foley of Omaha, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; an infant son, Jerry; a brother, Maynard, and a sister, Edna Curl.
