OCCUPATION: The couple farmed in Grant Township for many years. Her husband died Feb. 2, 1985. She continued to live on the farm until moving into town in 1994 She had been a resident of Park Place Estates for a year.
SURVIVORS: …include a daughter, Ardis Johnson of LeMars; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Renken of LeMars; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a son, Virgil; a son-in-law, Jerry Johnson; a great granddaughter; two sisters, Gertie Johnson and Anna Popken; and two brothers, Folkert and Harm Frerichs.
