Frank A. Zieger

Frank A. Zieger, 68, formerly of Le Mars, passed away July 24 at St. Lawrence, South Dakota. Funeral services were held Sunday July 27 at the Trinity Lutheran church of Miller, South Dakota.
Mr. Zieger was born December 18, 1889 at Hamburg, Germany. He came to the United States when he was 16. He 1ived in Pennsylvania first, and then moved to Iowa where he married Sophia Ahrendt of Le Mars, on April 30, 1919. They moved to Hand county near St. Lawrence, South Dakota and lived on the same farm since.
Surviving are the widow: a daughter, Mrs. William (Hilda) Hargens of Caldwell, Idaho: two sons, Herbert of St. Lawrence, So. Dak., and Ralph of Miller, So. Dak.; two brothers, two sisters and seven grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. John Waldum, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Karly of Sioux City, Iowa: Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Ahrendt, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Meyer, Fred J. H. Plueger, Charles T. G. Plueger, Clarence Plueger, all of Le Mars, Iowa: Mrs. Henry Janssen and Milo Manning of Le Mars.
