Almma M. Weinrich Dunnick, 85, of Hinton, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at her residence.
The former Alma M. Goss was born Aug. 9, 1920, in Homer, Neb., the daughter of William and Edna (Davis) Goss. Alma graduated from high school in Homer, Neb., and later, NBT Business School in Sioux City.
Alma married Ray E. Weinrich. He died in 1957. Later, she married Willus D. Dunnick in 1968 in Jackson, Minn. He died in 1993 in Harlingen, Texas.
She was a longtime member of Hinton United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Senior Citizen Association in Hinton and Order of Eastern Star, Azure Chapter #540 in Leeds.
Alma was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Francksen and her husband, Larry, of Merrill; two sons, Alan Weinrich and his wife, Kim, of Mustang, Okla., and Mike Weinrich and his wife, Jean, of Hinton; one daughter-in-law, Donna Weinrich-Lucht and her husband, Jim, of Hinton; 13 grandchildren: Terrie Binneboese, Pamela Milton and her husband, Marlin, Ranae Allen and her husband, Bud, Brenda Dittmer and her husband, Barry, Lisa Francksen and her husband, Steve, Lori Francksen and her husband, Brad Small, Brett Weinrich, Nikki Weinrich, Mandy Anderson and her husband, Scott, Chad Weinrich, Sara Weinrich, Michelle Rustwick and her husband, Chad, and Jon Weinrich; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Bill Weinrich; one sister, Hollis Savage; one grandson in infancy, Werner Ray Francksen.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hinton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jason Gutzmer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation will bee from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Friday) at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Casketbeearers will be Jon Weinrich, Chad Weinrich, Brad Small, Marcus Dittmer, Luke Binneboese and Jake Milton.~LeMars Daily Sentinel of 07 October 2005
