SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: JoAnn Gengler, June 30, 1955, at Christ Lutheran Church in Remsen, Iowa
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed for two years at the Naval base in San Francisco. In 1945, he returned to Remsen and was employed with the U.S. Postal system for 43 years. He also worked during that time as a carpet and linoleum installer for Jinx Matgen. He retired from the Postal system in 1989, and was employed at Moeller Funeral Home in Remsen until April of this year.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; three sons; two daughters; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.
