SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: The couple lived in Norfolk, Nebraska, for a few years and in 1939, moved to LeMars. She was employed with Blau Oil in LeMars, then as an accountant with Wells Blue Bunny for 25 years, retiring in 1990. Her husband died Nov. 1, 1986. She was recently inducted into the Wells Blue Bunny Hall of Fame at their new Visitor Center in LeMars. She moved to Fort Dodge in 1996 and resided at Friendship Haven.
SURVIVORS: …include three daughters, LuAnn McFarland of St. Louis, Rita Mae and her husband, Lowell Haberger of Sioux City, and Margaret Mary and her husband, Paul Hering of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son and his wife, H.A. “Mike” and Phyllis of Fort Dodge; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a son, John Andrew; and a grandson, Shawn Haberger.
